Medical Explorers is a unique program that partners young people with an interest in the medical field with professionals who work in health care and health-related fields. The PMC Medical Explorers Post 206 is designed for people ages 14 through 20 and each month highlights a different discipline in health care.

Participants tour the departments at Pocono Medical Center and talk with experts in their respective fields as well as participate in hands-on activities.An open house for new members will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Sept. 17 in the Stroud and Brodhead rooms on the first floor of PMC to give prospective participants an overview of current and future career opportunities in health care.The post meets the third Tuesday of every month from 6:30-8 p.m. at PMC.For more information, call 570-476-3447.
