Lehigh Carbon Community College will offer a college prep course on May 31 for students currently in ninth, 10th and 11th grades and their parents or guardians from Carbon County.

They will learn about college planning and test preparation from the perspective of LCCC students and college staff.The program will begin at 10 a.m. at the LCCC Jim Thorpe campus, 1100 Center St., Jim Thorpe.Following introductions and information about academics and test-taking, guests will board a bus for the college's main campus on Route 309 in Schnecksville.After lunch, at 12:15 p.m., there will be a campus tour and a bus trip back to Jim Thorpe, arriving at LCCC in Carbon County at approximately 2:30 p.m.For more information or to register, contact Heather Mullen at 570-669-7010 or
