Times News wins state press, advertising awards
The Times News Media Group won several awards this year in the Pennsylvania NewsMedia Association contests for news, circulation and advertising
The Times News won the following news awards in its circulation category:
Donald R. Serfass won an honorable mention for lifestyle beat - Culture for a collection of stories dealing with small town life in Pennsylvania.
David W. Rowe captured first place for feature page design for several Saturday Spotlight features.
Amy Miller won an honorable mention in the Business/Consumer story for “Facility details COVID nightmare,” a story about Heritage Hill Senior Community’s struggle with COVID-19.
Emmett McCall took a second place in sports feature for “Hemingway speaks softly, but carries a big stick,” a story about Northern Lehigh’s Jordyn Hemingway.

The Bethlehem Press is again a Sweepstakes Winner in the Professional Keystone Media Awards. The Bethlehem Press, Editor George Taylor of Tamaqua, received the most number of points based on 16 Keystone Media Award Winners in Division VI of the 2023 Professional Keystone Media Awards.
The Press newspapers won an additional five 2023 Professional Keystone Media Awards for a total of 21 Professional Keystone Media Awards for 2023 for work published in 2022. It’s the seventh time that the Bethlehem Press has been named a Sweepstakes Winner in the Professional Keystone Media Awards. The Bethlehem Press was a Sweepstakes Winner in the 2022, 2021, 2017, 2016, 2015 and 2014 Professional Keystone Media Awards.
