Mahoning Township’s board of supervisors took the following action on Wednesday:
• Denied approval of the township’s zoning and Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance after the board deadlocked on a 2-2 vote. Supervisor Deb McGowan and board Chairman Robert Slaw were in favor, with supervisors Myron Blahy and David Pollock opposed. Supervisor Ronald Reeser was absent. The matter will be put back on next month’s meeting agenda.
• Approved Sage Meadows letter of credit renewal in the amount of $431,223, and development agreement extension.
• Approved Summit Ridge Phase 1 letter of credit renewal in the amount of $205,304, and development agreement extension.
• Agreed to send a letter of removal for removal from the township’s Planning Commission to Mark Schwalm.
• Advertised public notice of intent to appoint Certified Public Accountant to perform 2023 Audit.
• Agreed to advertise the 2024 meeting dates.
