Three new faces will join an incumbent on Lehighton Borough Council, according to unofficial results in Tuesday’s General Election.
Finishing as the top vote-getters in winning the four four-year seats were newcomers David Zimmerman (cross-filed) who garnered 588 votes, Steven Hawk (cross-filed), 566, John Kreitz (cross-filed) 510, and incumbent Democrat Grant Hunsicker, 443.
They bested newcomer Republican Tina Henninger, who trailed behind with 423 votes. There were 13 write-in votes.
Democratic incumbent Rebecca Worthy ran unopposed for a two-year seat and earned 576 votes. There were 11 write-in votes.
