Northern Lehigh School Board approved the following personnel matters on Monday:

• Resignations: Katlyn Kocis, first grade teacher, Peter’s Elementary School, effective Nov. 22; Cindy Frey, reading specialist, Peter’s Elementary School, effective Nov. 22; Paige Schmidt, math teacher, Northern Lehigh High School, effective Nov. 10; Jessica Reichard, paraprofessional, Northern Lehigh Middle School, Oct. 20; Tina Erkinger, administrative assistant to the assistant superintendent, Nov. 10.

• Appointed Mickayla Reinstein, cook’s helper, $14 an hour, five hours per day, effective Oct. 10; Lori Rivera, cook’s helper, $14 an hour, four hours per day, effective Oct. 10; Jennifer Madtes, special education teacher, $64,175, upon release of current employer; Angie Everett, substitute teacher, elementary.

• Michelle Siesko, $650, for creating the Peters Elementary School yearbook for the 2023-2024 school year, stipend to be funded by the Peters Elementary School budget; Michelle Brown, $750, for creating the Slatington Elementary School yearbook for the 2023-2024 school year, stipend to be funded by the Slatington Elementary School budget.

• Lori Rivera, bus driver/aide, from Kris Transportation, to transport Northern Lehigh School District students for the 2023-2024 school year.

• Allison Chruscial and Raquel Hoffert, National Honor Society, shared stipend, $375 each.
