Northern Lehigh School Board approved the following curriculum and instruction matters on Monday:

• Superintendent to execute a letter of agreement for the 2023-2024 academic year with the Center for Humanistic Change, Inc. to provide Student Assistance Program Liaison services. The Student Assistance Teams in the district will use these services.

• Janet Bashore, helping teacher for Kristi Yordy, $200; Greg King as helping teacher for Jonathan Potynski, $800, in the Northern Lehigh School District Induction Program for the 2023-2024 school year.

• Mark Nicosia as mentor for Scott Prebosnyak, new employee, $100, and Zachary Wargula as mentor for Prebosnyak, $100.

• Agreement between the district and Lehigh Learning Academy for the purpose of furnishing regular education or special education programs for the students for the 2023-2024 school year.

• Renewal of Character Strong for Middle School SEL Lessons at a cost of $699 for the 2023-2024 school year to be funded through the middle school building budget.

• Purchase of HealthSmart for use as elementary health education curriculum materials for a total cost of $2,757 to be funded through the Peters Elementary and Slatington Elementary building budgets.

• To execute the Intergovernmental Agreement of Title I Equitable Services between the Northern Lehigh School District and Carbon Lehigh Intermediate Unit #21 for remedial instruction services for the 2023-2024 school year.
