The 20th annual Skippy Dietz Rabies Clinic will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Lake Harmony Rescue Squad Building, 105 Lake Drive in Lake Harmony. Shots for both dogs and cats will be available for $12 per shot. All animals must be in a cage or on a leash.

This clinic is dedicated in memory of Sandi Dietz, who spearheaded this clinic to combat rabies.Rabies in vaccinated animals is rare. Vaccination and education continues to be the most effective weapon in combating rabies.Carbon County dog licenses will be sold that day. It is the law that all dogs 3 months or older must have a dog license. Dog licenses are also available by calling your county treasurer's office.Dr. Sharon Lachette of the White Haven Veterinary Hospital has again agreed to donate her time to administer the inoculation.The rescue squad building is located 1.4 miles west of Route 903, next to Shenanigans Restaurant.
