The Palmerton Area Democratic Club will hold their final meeting before the summer break at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Blue Shamrock Golf Club, 2230 Fireline Road in Palmerton.

Attorney Carole Walbert of Jim Thorpe, Democratic State Committee Woman for Carbon County Democrats, will be discussing the candidates for the five state judicial seat openings on Pennsylvania's Supreme and Superior Courts.The area covered by the Club includes Palmerton, Bowmanstown, Towamensing Township and Lower Towamensing Township.Meetings are held monthly at 7 p.m. on the second Tuesday of the month, September through May.
