The best hits of Tony Bennett, Frank Sinatra and other greats drew a crowd to the Tamaqua train station Thursday as performer Fred Douglas presented the inaugural installment of the ninth Tamaqua Area Chamber of Commerce Summer Concert Series. The night was sponsored by Momma C's Bakery, West Penn Township, with Rae Anne Moyer and Cheryl Leone providing free homemade pastries, cookies, doughnuts and other desserts. Coordinator Jack Kulp said a full slate of performers will be featured this summer and all of the concerts are free to the public.
