This week we'll be publishing tidbits of Lehighton history in conjunction with the celebration committee.

Houser Jr. Building/Borough Annex to answer a questionnaire and win prizes.TODAY'S FACTS:• The Gnaden Huetten Cemetery was known by the Moravians as "God's Acre."• Soldiers were stationed in Lehighton during World War I in October 1917 to protect the railroad bridges.• During World War I, the Curb Market was an outdoor farmers market to give local farmers a venue to sell their produce. The Curb Market was located where the Municipal Building is built.
