Towamensing Elementary School is celebrating Read Across America all week. On Monday the students could dress up as their favorite storybook characters as a fundraiser to benefit the Palmerton Area Library. Ashley Hummer's Carbon Lehigh Intermediate Unit 21 Life Skills class, K-4th grades, dressed up as their favorite Dr. Seuss characters.
