The monthly meeting of the Ranger Rick Club will take place at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Carbon County Environmental Education Center. The club meets on the second Sunday of each month and is open to all students in kindergarten through sixth grade. Meetings generally last 1½ hours.Each month’s meeting focuses on some aspect of the natural world. This month’s topic, “Bird’s the Word,” will introduce youngsters to bird identification, and help them hone birdwatching skills.The afternoon will include a craft and a short hike.
