Board vacanciesThe Borough of Lansford is seeking volunteers to fill the following board vacancies at its Feb. 10 meeting.Applicants must be over age 18, a resident of Lansford, and be available to attend meetings.Vacancies include:Planning Commission: one open seat, four-year term; meetings are held as needed.Zoning Hearing Board: two alternate seats open; three-year term; meetings are held as needed.Vacancy Board: 1 open seat; one-year term, meets with council if a council vacancy occurs.Health Officer: Someone experienced in public health work to enforce the health ordinances of the borough, one seat; indefinite term.Applications by letter of interest will be accepted in the office of the borough secretary, 1 W.
