The driver of this pickup escaped injury Tuesday night when he rolled his vehicle along Owl Creek road in Tamaqua at 8 p.m. not far from the Summit Hill borough line. Initial reports were the driver was entrapped, but when fire officials arrived, they discovered he had climbed out of the pickup and was not injured. Owl Creek road was closed for two hours. Responding to the accident were the American Hose and South Ward fire companies and the Tamaqua Rescue Squad. Lehighton paramedics also responded. COPYRIGHT LARRY NEFF/SPECIAL TO THE TIMES NEWS
