If so, then kids ages 8-18 should plan to attend a workshop in Lehighton to learn how.The free How to Build a Coaster Car Workshop will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday at the home of instructor Elwood Reed, located at 340 Union Hill Road.The workshop will be under the direction of Reed.The Lehighton 150th Anniversary Celebration Committee's Coaster Race will be held at noon June 26 as part of the borough's eight-day celebration.The race registration deadline is May 31.The race will start at North Second Street and continue downhill to the North Street finish line at the borough municipal building.The Coaster Race was originally run in the borough in 1923.For race details, visit
