Carbon County District Attorney Richard W. Webb, Palmerton, has forwarded a model ordinance to all municipalities and townships of the county.

The 13-page document is designed to override the U.S. Supreme Court decision against obscenity and pornography.Webb has high praise for District Attorney Pat O'Toole of Luzerne County for the important role he played in drafting the text of the ordinance, which deals with the elimination and prevention of lewd displays and exhibitions having to do with obscene themes, and the same of obscene materials.It is hoped the enactment of this ordinance by the governmental bodies will reverse the critical tend toward immoral presentations of all types.
