BELLWOOD, Pa. (AP) - A high school valedictorian refused to deliver a graduation speech and skipped the ceremony after she said school officials tried to censor her remarks.

She didn't tell schools officials what she planned to say, but Principal Richard Schreier says he heard Little intended to veer off script.So he called her down to the office to ask her to deliver a more traditional speech.Little says she decided to skip graduation instead, writing on Facebook that she "refused to go up in front of everyone, and give a speech pretending that high school was not the most awful thing I have ever been a part of."The high school is about 100 miles east of Pittsburgh.---Information from: Pennlive.com,
