Kidder Township has awarded a bid for the new driveway extension at the municipal building. The bids were opened Thursday afternoon and the lowest bid was for $86,075.22. The bid was awarded to Bruce George Paving and Excavation. The highest bid was more than $150,000.

The township also accepted the resignation of part-time police officer, Philip Shedaker and planning commission member Ellen Matt.The township is looking to replace both.
