Tamaqua's Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) is seeking to fill two vancancies.

The council-appointed volunteer positions provide an advisory representative regarding community projects and development activities. Advisory members participate in reviewing and planning of all activities related to the Community Development Program within the borough and periodically review the implementation, monitoring and evaluating of plans, such as housing assistance."The function of the CAC is to bring to light the problems and needs of various segments of the borough population, providing a first line opportunity for residents, businessmen and interested groups to obtain accurate and timely information concerning plans and programs," said Margaret Marino, secretary, Housing Rehabilitation Loan Program.For more information or to apply for the position, stop by the Tamaqua Borough Hall or call (570) 668-0300.
