Carbon County Area Agency on Aging will be distributing farmers market vouchers for anyone who missed the previous distributions.

It will be from 1-3 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 2, at the Lehighton Recreation Center, 243 S. 8th St.

To be eligible you must be age 60 or over and total household income cannot exceed $26,973 for one person and $36,482 for a two-person household. When picking up vouchers, your signature and photo ID are required.

If picking up for a spouse or someone else, a completed proxy form is required. Proxy forms are available at any Senior Center or the Area Agency on Aging office.

Each person will receive $50 to spend on Pennsylvania grown produce at any farmers market that participates in the program.
