Carbon County Friends of Animals will have a Tasting Event fundraiser in conjunction with the Radical Wine Company.

Wine, beer, slushies and mixed drinks will be available from noon to 4 p.m. Aug. 13 at the Radical Wine Company, 511 Mahoning Dr. East, Lehighton.

Radical Wine will donate $1 to CCFOA for every beverage purchased.

Music will be supplied by DJ Star Tracks. Raffles and food for purchase.

Bring any of the following items to be entered in a door prize: laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, Lysol spray, paper towels and canned cat food.

CCFOA will also host a Coach/Vera Bradley/Cash bingo on Oct. 8 at the Orioles Club, Lehighton. Doors open at 10 a.m. Games begin at noon. Donations of auction items are needed. People are also needed to sponsor bingo items.

Friends of animals is also seeking board members and volunteers.
