The Schuylkill County Salary Board reported Wednesday that Susan Coombe, Tamaqua, and Amber Hill, Schuylkill Township, were hired as district justice assistants 1 at $18.09 an hour starting July 10.

Also, county commissioners hired Sydnie Harig, Wayne Township, as agricultural program specialist at $15.99 an hour starting July 1
