                State police at Lehighton released information on several cases:
                • Sean Strayer,
                20, of Jim Thorpe, is facing charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop.
                Police said they stopped him for traffic violations in a 2021 Kia at 8:14 p.m. June 18 at the intersection of Canal Street and Main Road in Franklin Township and found him to be in possession of the drugs.
                • Billyjoe Dean,
                49, no address given, was charged with defiant criminal mischief after police were summoned to a trespass incident at 8:52 p.m. June 20.
                It happened on Chestnut Drive South in Ross Township. The victim is a 70-year-old woman from Saylorsburg.
                Police said the Dean fled the scene.
                • Police charged a 42-year-old Palmerton woman and a 37-year-old Bethlehem man with shoplifting after an incident at 11:29 a.m. June 21.
                Police said they were called to a store on Interchange Road in Towamensing Township when the two were caught stealing merchandise worth $196.12.
                • Police were summoned to investigate a criminal mischief incident at 7:57 p.m. May 25 along Route 903 in Penn Forest Township.
                A 21-year-old woman from Palmerton reported someone punctured the front tire on her 2014 Volkswagen Passat. The tire is worth $502, police said.
