A Lehighton man has been charged after police say he resisted arrest and hit an officer in the face.
At 11:10 p.m. June 20, Lehighton Police were notified by a resident that Kevin Snyder, 58, was throwing chunks of concrete at vehicles in the 300 block of South Third Street.
After a brief search, police located Snyder with the concrete.
Snyder ran from the scene.
When police found Snyder, he resisted arrest and struck an officer in the face, according to police.
He was taken to the Carbon County Correctional Facility.
