The Carbon County Commissioners conducted the following business last week:
• Approved the purchase of a service agreement with Access Services Inc., Fort Washington; Clear Vision Residential Treatment Services, Inc. Montgomery; Diakon Child, Family & Community Ministries, Topton; and Valley Youth House, Bethlehem, for Children and Youth Services.
• Approved a revised proposal from Ralph E. Clap, Professional Land Surveryors, of Jim Thorpe, for survey services at Kenneth R. Bond Farm of Jim Thorpe. Total estimate not to exceed $13,475. This is an increase of $2,500 for additional field work.
• Ratified a request for use of Josiah White Park for Lehigh Coal and Navigation, June 21.
• Approved the 2023 Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act Financial Agreements from July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024, for employment and training and related administrative services between Carbon County and Monroe, Pike and Wayne counties, not to exceed maximum payment of $2,387,025; $883,718; and $626,440, respectively.
