State police at the Fern Ridge barracks are investigating the theft of a tan Jeep Liberty from Matt’s Garage, Arlene Drive, Effort.

The owner is a 48-year-old man from Effort.

Police said the vehicle was reported stolen at 1 p.m. May 20 and was last seen in the Lansdale area.
