Get ready to embrace your free-spirited side at the annual Bohemian Market, hosted by the Lehighton Downtown Partnership.

The market will open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Lehighton Downtown Borough Park, located at 1 Constitution Avenue.

“We wanted to add a free spirit event where people can shop, eat and just hang out listening to music,” said Lehighton Main Street Manager Bambi Elsasser. “So bring your blankets or lawn chairs.”

The Bohemian Market offers activities and entertainment for all ages.

Eric Stimmler of Left Edge will play favorite hits from the ’60s and ’70s in the morning. Later in the day, Autumn Fall Entertainment will play an array of rock, folk, and country-style Bohemian music.

There will be crafters and vendors, as well as food vendors.

Activities for children include face painting and entertainment.

The Lehighton Downtown Farmers Market will also be hosted from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at its new D&L Trail Spur location.

Lehighton Downtown Partnership’s next event is “Christmas in July” on July 22.
