State police at the Stroudsburg barracks said they attempted to stop a 2013 Harley Davidson that was traveling at an unsafe speed at 8:06 a.m. June 14 in the area of Route 115 and the Kunkletown Road in Ross Township.

Police said the driver of the cycle, a 26-year-old man from Saylorsburg, failed to stop and a brief pursuit was terminated due to the flow of traffic and for public safety.

The driver was identified and charged with fleeing or eluding police, police said.
