N. Lehigh Middle School team competes in LV contest

They may not have come out on top, but that didn’t stop a Northern Lehigh Middle School academic team from turning in an impressive showing.

Superintendent Dr. Matthew J. Link at last week’s school board meeting recognized the middle school team for its solid work at a recent competition.

Link said that he, Assistant Superintendent Dr. Tania Stoker, and high school Principal Michael Strohl attended the What’s So Cool About Manufacturing gala in support of the middle school team.

He said the student participants included Savannah Kast, McKenzie Chruscial, Colin Karetsky, Chase Gall, Lilliana Ayala-Barreto, Alexa Maehrer, Madilynn Husack and Andi Szwast, while Mary Frank served as the faculty adviser.

“Although they didn’t win an award this year, they represented our district like champions,” Link said. “We’re very proud of the video they produced, and the time and effort they dedicated to this year’s competition.”

“So thank you to all the students and Mrs. Frank for representing our district so well, and we’re really appreciative of the effort they put in to creating this year’s video.”
