Tamaqua will host basketball tournaments for three different age groups on March 3-5 in the Tamaqua High School and Tamqua Middle School gyms.

There will be a third and fourth grade division (ages 9-10); a fifth grade division (ages 10-11) and a sixth grade division (ages 11-12).

The entry fee is $150 per team. The tournaments will be run under PIAA/NFHS rules with tournament modifications in effect

The tournaments will use a pool play format and all teams are guaranteed three games. Teams can have maximum roster size of 12 players with one head coach, one assistant coach and one scorekeeper.

Games will be played with six and eight minute running clocks per quarter. Two officials will be assigned to each game. A concession stand will be available.
