Tamaqua Area High School students Timothy Berg, Anna McCabe and Jonathan Ulicny recently participated in the 2023 District 10 Chorus Festival held at Bangor Area High School in Bangor.
The event, a 2-day vocal music festival, culminated with a concert for the public on Friday.
Students from Berks, Carbon, Lehigh, Monroe, Northampton and Schuylkill counties are selected annually to participate in the festival through audition.
The guest conductor for the festival was Dr. Heather Buchanon, Professor of Music and Director of Choral Music Studies at Montclair State University in New Jersey.
