Northern Lehigh School Board rejected a motion Monday to develop an Early Retirement Incentive Plan, for all eligible professional employees on a volunteer basis, for the 2022-2023 school year.

The board approved the following matters on Monday:

• Krystle Tiedeman to attend the Pennsylvania School Librarians Association Annual Conference March 30-April 1, in Harrisburg, with the cost of registration, $200, lodging, $375, travel, $109, meals, $90, for a total cost of $774, to be funded from the high school budget.

• Shawn Green to attend the Pennsylvania School Librarians Association Annual Conference March 30-April 1 in Harrisburg, with the cost of registration, $250, lodging, $375, travel, $116, meals, $100, for a total cost of $841, to be funded from Peters/Slatington Elementary budget.

• Michele Dotta to attend the Pennsylvania Department of Education Conference March 1-3, in Hershey, with the cost of registration $235, lodging, $358, travel, $102, meals, $100, for a total cost of about $795, to be funded from the special education budget.

• Gary Fedorcha as Lehigh Career & Technical Institute Joint Operating Committee representative for the term of December 2022 - December 2025.

• The board also recognized directors Chad Christman, Robin Distler, Gary Fedorcha, Rhonda Frantz, Mathias Green, Jr., Michelle Heckman, Gale Husack, Robert Kern, Jr. and Donna Kulp with a resolution for school board director recognition month
