Every year, during the month of November, each time a customer adds or upgrades to the fastest internet speed, Blue Ridge Communications has donated a new blanket to a child, family, or animal shelter in need.
This year, Blue Ridge partnered with the Pocono Services for Families and Children to distribute the new warm blankets just in time for the holidays.
On Tuesday, blankets were given to children and parents at the Pocono Services for Families and Children.
This year for Blue Ridge it is all about keeping Monroe County families warm and shelter animals warm said Joe Lorah, Director of Government and Public Affairs.
