The Pennsylvania State Police Troop M in Bethlehem conducted a roving driving under the influence patrol from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m. Monday, Aug. 29, to Tuesday, Aug. 30.
Results of the DUI Patrol are the following:
• 42 contacts with the public
• 4 arrests for DUI
• 1 arrest for possession of drugs
• 2 arrests for warrants
• 22 warnings issued
• 6 citations issued
The Pennsylvania State Police, Troop M urges travelers to “Think before You Drink” and be mindful of our continuing efforts to enforce the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s legal blood alcohol limit of 0.08% while operating a motor vehicle.
Anyone under the age of 21 that chooses to operate a motor vehicle with any amount of alcohol in their system, could suffer severe criminal penalties.
