State police at Bethlehem reported at 8:39 p.m. on May 20 they responded to a residence along Mountain Road in Washington Township, Lehigh County.

Troopers said a 50-year-old woman from Slatington, who troopers declined to identify, had brandished a machete and threatened a 72-year-old man from Walnutport.

She was charged with terroristic threats.
