A summer program in the Northern Lehigh School District has just picked up some steam.
The Neffs National Bank recently donated $22,500 to the district’s Education Foundation.
Superintendent Matthew J. Link said the money will support the district’s summer STEAM camps at Slatington Elementary School and Northern Lehigh Middle School.
“Neffs Bank has always been a very generous business community partner with the school district, and it’s because of them we can do things like offer the STEAM camp,” Link said.
Summer STEAM Camp is for students in grades 3-6 at Slatington Elementary, and grades 7-8 at Northern Lehigh Middle School.
This year’s Summer STEAM Camp runs from June 13-23.
