Northern Lehigh School Board also approved the following matters on Monday:

• To allow Drum Corps International to utilize the high schools, fields, field house, and stadium complex, Aug. 4-6, for Santa Clara Vanguard to practice and prepare for their competition in Allentown the evening of Aug. 6. Their rehearsal in Bulldog Stadium is open to the local community at no cost to spectators.

• The high school National Honor Society/Student Council to take a field trip to New York City on Friday, to be fully funded by the high school National Honor Society/Student Council students.

• Expulsion hearing waiver for two students. The students and their guardians have waived their right to a formal expulsion hearing in front of the school board and have also agreed to disciplinary action outlined in the waiver.
