Medicare

The Panther Valley Public Library will be providing assistance to seniors during open enrollment for Medicare.

You may be able to save money on your Medicare and prescription drug costs. We suggest you review your plan each year and we can help you. We will be offering this service at the library 117 E. Bertsch St., Lansford, from 9 a.m. to noon on Oct. 17, Oct. 31, Nov. 14 and Nov 28.

Appointments must be scheduled through the Carbon County Area Agency on Aging.

Senior center

The Panther Valley Senior Center announced activities for Oct. 15 through 19:

Birthday & Bingo on Oct. 15 at 11 a.m.; Horseracing on Oct. 16 at 11 a.m.; Train Ride on Oct. 17 at 1 p.m.; Cards on Oct. 18 at 10:30 a.m.; Popcorn and Movie on Oct. 19 at 10 a.m.
