Northern Lehigh School Board approved the following financial matters on Monday:
• A three-year service agreement for water treatment services for cooling towers, chilled water and hot water systems by Rochester Midland Corporation Fund at a yearly fee of $7,000, to be paid from the 2022-2023 school year building and grounds general operating budget.
• Agreement with Frontline Education to provide web-based applications for planning, reporting, monitoring and archiving student data in compliance with federal and state mandated regulations. The cost of the services will be $3,479, an increase of $181 for the 2022-2023 school year.
• Awarding of fuel bid to Petroleum Traders at a firm price of $3.1639 per gallon.
• Agreement with USA Staffing Services to provide a Licensed Practical Nurse to the Northern Lehigh for the 2022-2023 school year, to be funded through the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund grant.
• The CLIU Technology Pool Consortium Agreement for the 2022-2023 school year, at a cost not to exceed $792.
• Appointed Jon Rinker as Slatington tax collector, effective Feb. 21, due to the resignation of Gwyneth Jones.
• Deborah Rinker as deputy tax collector in the event the tax collector becomes incapacitated.
• Agreement with ProCare to provide a certified school psychologist from May 3 to June 30, to be funded through the Special Education Budget.
• Re-elected Director Donna Kulp as treasurer for the 2022-2023 fiscal year.
