State police at Lehighton are withholding the names of four people killed Friday night in a horrific crash on Dairy Road in Lower Towamensing Township until relatives have been notified.

According to a news release issued at 1:32 a.m. today by Trooper Fiorey, the two-car crash happened at 8:25 p.m. Friday at 1650 Dairy Road. Ages have not been released, but based on Facebook and Twitter posts it is believed the victims were teens.Two others were taken by Lehighton and Palmerton ambulance crews to hospitals further evaluation.All four victims were believed to be traveling in a car that split apart.The Times News will post continued updates on this tragedy as they become available.
