During physical education classes the students will be wearing special goggles while operating golf carts.Wednesday: officers with the Tamaqua Police Department will speak to seniors about the dangers and results of drinking and driving. Special announcements will be made throughout the day by faculty, staff and administrators.THURSDAY: Key Day will be held on Thursday. Students will have the opportunity to sign a key, pledging not to drink and drive. Their names will then be entered into a drawing for a gas card.FRIDAY: The Grim Reaper will show up at the school on May 1. Throughout the day, students in study halls will be selected to "die." These students will then represent victims of drunken drivers and will pledge not to talk or participate in class for the rest of the day.
