Northern Lehigh School Board approved the following matters this week:

• Resignation of high school cafeteria/hall monitor Yazlynn Miller, effective March 25.

• Zachary Kunkle, maintenance, $18.49 an hour, effective March 21.

• Gerald Hadinger Jr., cook’s helper, $13.50 an hour for the 2021-2022 school year, effective Monday.

• Vernadine Jones-Link, bus driver from Brandywine Transportation, to transport Northern Lehigh School District students for the 2021-2022 school year. JoAnn Papay will serve as an aide.

• Rhonda Frantz and Melissa Wagner as unpaid volunteer secretaries, districtwide, for the 2021-2022 school year.

The board also approved the following after-school program positions, to be funded through ESSER III After-School set aside:

• Stephanie Gursky and Michael Smith, teachers, Collective Bargaining Agreement current rate per hour.

• Kimberly Deprill, Lori Paules, Angie Thomas, Becky Adams, Andrea Rosario, Denise Minnich and Jessica Walters, paraprofessionals, hourly rate.

• A student and guardian have agreed to waive their right to a formal expulsion hearing in front of the school board and have also agreed to disciplinary action. The student’s name was not released.

• An affiliation agreement between the district and Rosemont College for qualified students to participate in the fieldwork experience or student teaching experience.
