This week, Reps. Doyle Heffley, R-Carbon, and Tarah Toohil, R-Luzerne, participated in a tour of KME in Nesquehoning.

KME is one of the largest employers in Carbon County, employing nearly 1,000 people.During the tour, they discussed employment opportunities with company officials who said they have a great need for qualified workers, including mechanics, welders and fabricators.The expansion of this company shows that manufacturing remains key to Pennsylvania's 21st century economy, and a great option for the workers of the future.
