A Palmerton woman sustained minor injuries as the result of a one-car crash Thursday night in Lower Towamensing Township.

State Police at Lehighton said the crash occurred at 8:42 p.m. as a 2001 Chevrolet Malibu was traveling southbound on Forest Inn Road.The vehicle, operated by Kayla Driscoll, 20, of Palmerton, was negotiating a right curve on the roadway at 8:42 p.m. when it traveled off the right roadside and struck a utility pole on the right roadside.Driscoll, who was wearing her seat belt, sustained minor injuries.The vehicle sustained minor passenger side fender damage.
