The Bucket List Book Club meets the first Wednesday of each month at the Tamaqua Community Art Center to discuss must-read books.This month's selection is the classic "Jane Eyre," written by Charlotte Bronte. The book tells the tale of Jane, a young orphan being raised by a cruel and wealthy aunt, and the twists and turns of her life as she seeks true happiness.The club will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday.The March meeting will focus on "The Joy Luck Club" by Amy Tan.The art center is located at 125 Pine St.Free mealThe next monthly community soup social at Trinity United Church of Christ will be held Saturday. The free sessions are open to preschoolers between the ages of 2 and 5.Sessions will be held for 10 consecutive weeks, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, concluding in May. In addition to story reading/telling, participants will learn new songs, design special crafts and enjoy a snack.
