A Schuylkill County man was jailed on Jan. 19 on child pornography charges.
State police at Frackville said Garrison Zarcufsky, 34, of 227 E. Centre St., Shenandoah, was arrested at his home after a search warrant was executed by the state police Bureau of Criminal Investigation - Computer Crime Task Force, troopers from the Frackville barracks and Homeland Security Investigations. Troopers said electronic devices were examined and seized.
Zarcufsky was taken into custody and charged with 20 counts of sexual abuse of children/child pornography; sexual abuse of children/child pornography dissemination, one count, and criminal use of a communication facility, one count. All are felonies.
He was arraigned by District Judge Anthony Kilker, of Shenandoah, and committed to the county prison in Pottsville, unable to post $100,000 cash bail.
