A Rush Township man was absolved of wrongdoing after being accused of attacking his sister.

A Schuylkill County jury of eight men and four women on Monday afternoon found Gregory Knepper not guilty of simple assault, and Judge James Goodman found him not guilty of a charge of harassment.Knepper, 48, of Quakake, had been charged by Tamaqua patrolman Joseph Krebs on May 30. Knepper had, according to court documents, assaulted his sister at their mother's home in Tamaqua.
