A motorcyclist was injured in a crash along Interstate 81 in Butler Township, Schuylkill County. State police at Frackville said the accident occurred about 7:16 p.m. on Sunday, July 29.

Troopers said David Douglas Kulp, 47, of Ashland, was operating a 2004 Harley Davidson cycle northbound in the left lane when he traveled onto the median. The bike then rolled several times and came to rest near mile marker 119.7.Kulp sustained a moderate injury and was treated at the scene by Ashland ambulance personnel. The bike had to be towed from the scene.Troopers cited Kulp for driving on roadways laned for traffic.
