A Lansford man is in trouble after police were called to a residence for a domestic dispute.

According to Summit Hill police, on June 22, at 9:32 p.m., officers were dispatched to a residence in Summit Hill for a domestic disturbance.Upon arrival they talked with the victim, who reported that James Mehefko, 43, of 343 W. Bertsch St., assaulted her.Police took Mehefko into custody for the assault.During a pat down search officers discovered a metal pipe that is used to ingest drugs.The victim of the assault did not want to press charges for the assault but Mehefko was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
